Independent Opera Company concludes its twelfth season with Dialogues of the Carmelites, highly acclaimed 20th century opera by French composer Francis Poulenc. This wonderful work is based on the true story of the Carmelite nuns who were executed during the time of French Revolution. It is set to the most beautiful and moving music that will surely create the cathartic experience and live a lifelong memory. The production is fully staged and will be performed with piano accompaniment. Gorgeous and serene Sanctuary of La Cañada Congregational Church will provide perfect setting for this poignant and heartbreaking work.
