One of the most vivid memories of my youth is fabulous movie La Traviata with Placido Domingo and Teresa Stratas. The movie theater where it was showing was just a couple of blocks away from Kiev State Conservatory that I attended at the time and I used any spare time between lectures to run to the theater for yet another pick at this masterpiece! The beauty of music, the moving and somehow so relatable story, lush sets and of course incredible singing and acting of lead characters were destined to remain in my memory forever.

Independent Opera Company will present this timeless story in December 2017. Mark your calendars:

December 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th all at 7:30 pm. We are returning again to beautiful Protection Of The Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church (Russian Hall) 2041 Argyle Ave Los Angeles CA 90068. Stay tuned for ticket information and cast lists!
